The beginning of a new journey

Welcome to my new blog!  In the past, I have always kept a journal during my travels. It is the number #1 item in my backpack, followed closely by a Lonely Planet, camera and universal power adaptor.  Writing things down helps me to remember those amazing experiences that would otherwise fade into a distant memory. My journals have built up over the years and I keep them in an red suitcase, which is bulging at the seams. As times change, I have decided to share my adventures online (it might make for a lighter backpack too).  I will be heading off on a new adventure soon, which will be revealed in later posts, so stay tuned! I hope you find some inspiration and useful information in this blog and that you enjoy exploring the world with me, wherever the path may lead.
